Dear, all

I have made non-linear 3D FEA Reinforced Concrete bridge pier models in ANSYS V13, which are built as a discrete connectivity of both SOLID65 and LINK8 for concrete element and steel rod element respectively. In bond slip effect modeling betwen steel bar and concrete, I'm experiencing difficulties to develope commands list to apply the zero length spring element by using COMBIN39 as an element which is both of concrete and steel bar can be having potential debonding ability.
I hope there is someone who can explain me clearly to integrate combin39 element with other discrete elements and examples

Best regards,
Daengjuned
