Another Turning Tutorial Question

Sorry for all the questions!

I am trying to to do the edit the part boundary for the OD finish. I can not select the geometry of the grrove as shown. Also I do not see an Ignore Member check box. See the attached photos.

The "Ignore Members" option is available in the photo you posted. It's a big button, not a checkbox.

You will press "ignore members" first, then you will choose the geometry second.

Do you mean the selection process didn't work or the resultant toolpath didn't generate as expected?

I've never had much luck using "ignore members". I usually find another way to accomplish the goal.

Jaydenn,

No idea of what I am doing, just following the tutorials that come with NX8.5! Like I said coming from Mastercam so the learning curve is steep!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I would love to take a Siemens course but they do not offer any manufacturing courses up here in Toronto.
