Is there a process/document/spec to reference when annodizing aluminum? In particular, aluminum with a gold chromate conversion or clear irridite/clear alodine finish.

Much thanks,

Chemical films such as alodine and iridite are covered by MIL-C-5541.

Most other specs for aluminum anodizing are covered in MIL-A-8625 and ASTM B 580. "The attempt and not the deed confounds us."
