Animate Explode/Collapse Time

Does anyone know if, or how, the time taken to Animate explode or Animate collapse an assembly can be increased. The Animation Controller shows 8 seconds for "x1/2" speed & 2 seconds for "x2" speed. If only one or two parts are exploded, the speed is acceptable, but if many parts are, the explosion speed per piece is way too fast.
