When cargo tank leaks, ANSI K61.1 states that the liquid ammonia shall be transferred into a good tank in emergency transfer station. For that transfer do I need to use external portable compressor, or truck pump can be used via power take off to help the transfer? For the trucks built per MC331 spec do they have to carry built in pump for ammonia transfer?
