Hi,
We're operating two ammonia storage spheres for the last 35 years. The support columns (legs) of the spheres are protected against fire damage by means of concrete fireproofing, approx. 4-5 inches thick. The support columns are basically 32 in. pipes with 15 mm wall thickness. Can anyone share their experience for inspection of the support columns underneath the concrete fireproof coating.
