Good day all
Hope someone can help me with the following. I am looking for the do's and don'ts or general tips on the design of a fire suppression system for a fridge plant using ammonia. I looked at NFPA codes and couldn't find anything about the use of water spray systems in such cases. I know that the area is clasified as a zone 2 hazardous area. I have an idea that there should be a minimum amount of water flow per kilogram ammonia in the system to dilute the ammonia that could excape during a possible fire sufficiently.
Hope someone could help me.
