I have been a subscriber since this magazine started (20 years ago); excellent articles. Some of them, in the more recent issues (be sure to check the "Archives"), are available for reading online (for free). Here is a link

I used to subscribe, but the articles got shorter and shorter and the magazine was filled to the brim with advertisements.

What articles they did put out, though, were quite good.

I have always enjoyed this magazine, and continue to subscribe to it, although I seldom read any of my paper magazines anymore. I still can't say no to the kids who sell magazines for their school fundraisers, so I get more than I can read. Before the days of broadband, I used to have a lot more time for reading magazines.

There was a compendium book published some time ago that I treasure. It contained 20-30 articles taken from the magazine.

I had a free introductory subsciption, and I got lazy about subscribing by payment. I regret that now.
