I have a rooftop structure that is made from aluminum. It will utilize posts and beams at 4'c/c. Can the corrugated panels be considered a shearwall? About how many #/ft can the panels take?

I don't think it is legitimate to use the cladding as bracing. You should use diagonal bracing or frame action.

The panels would function as shear walls, no doubt, if properly nailed and braced. However, the problem, and reality, is getting the data to substantiate the values needed. Without that, you had better usae the approved systems and values of the IBC to get it past your local building department. Good Luck.

Might try contacting Alcoa to see if they could give you any leads.
