Alarms representation

Hi,

please collaboration with the following question, which one is the right way
(see attached) to represent the instrument alarms in the P&ID?, either way is
correct?

The representation on the left doesn't show any alarm function explicitly but is compact. The representation on the right shows all of the alarm functions explicitly but takes up a ton of space on a P&ID.

While neither is incorrect per ANSI/ISA-5.1-2009 as long as you document what they mean, I like a middle ground as shown in the attached file. It shows more functionality than the left representation, but is fairly compact.

My response would have been that the one on the left saves space on the P&ID and still reflects the idea of what you have.

However, I really like xnuke's idea and is a better representation of what you have.
