Hi Guys,
I'm on the design of an Air Cooled Heat Exchanger as per ASME SECT VIII Div.1, 2015. This design is based on an existant Air cooler that need to be replaced. I Already designed the Headers per appendix 13 but I am little bit lost on the selection of plug for the plug sheet.
The original design propose plugs with the following data:
Plug Size INCH 1-1/8"
Thread Type-UNF
No of thread per inch-12
This plug are not B16.11. How do I check pressure rating? Which tipe of calculations do I need to perform?
