Hey guys, So I'm looking to make an air augmented rocket, and am having a really hard time following this paper I'm reading on supersonic air ejectors. I'm thinking there's some simplification or something I'm just not seeing to get the equations I have into the form the paper puts it in (eqn 2.3 in the paper), would really appreciate any help anyone can offer. I put up the work I did so if you guys see something please let me know! Thank youu

always willing to help someone whose don't some work ...

not sure i get your developing (it's not really simplification !?) of eqn3 ...

overlooking that you dropped a square (cause you picked it up again), but you've multiplied both sides a factor to change the index of the RHS (...) from g/(g-1) to 1/(g-1). it looks like you've done (g+1)/(g-1)*g/(g-1) = 1/(g-1). doesn't look right to me ... i get (g+1)g = 1 ?

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

"don't" should be "done" ... sigh

forget that ... brain cramp about math of indices ...
g/(g-1) + (1-g)/(g-1) = 1/(g-1) ... as you have it !

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

Haha thanks for the help in any case
