I'm looking at a copy of AS1656, of which I am missing sheet 3 of 3. The spec is for a"Fitting end, threadless coupling-ferrule or sleeve", aka a Wiggins.

On the field of the drawing, and in the dimension table, there are symbols like "/1/" and "/2/" and "/3/". Some are after a radius callout, example, "R /3/", and one is right behind the -A- datum callout box.

Anyone have a clue what these are referring to? I suspect the missing page 3 of 3 may explain, but so far I haven't found that sheet.

Thanks,
Dave

My first guess is that they refer to a table of dimensions that is in page 3 for the different sizes of fittings.

My suspicion too, if only someone hadn't lost page 3. I think we'll need to buy a new copy.

Thanks!

Now you can lose pages 3 & 4, it is 4 pages now :)
