Adobe Lifecycle fields

I created a pdf engineering form from Excel. Editing in Lifecycle, I have a drop-down field. How can I copy the exact info from one field to another? I tried copy and paste, but I do not want extra fields. I want to change one field to match another.
I asked in Tek-TIps, no answer.
