Adobe 3D and 3D Annotations

I've been tinkering with Adobe Acrobat 3D the last few days and would like to bring in SW geometry complete w/ 3D Annotations - much like you can already do w/ eDrawings.

I've tried saving the geometry as a U3D file, Step 203, and Step 214, as well as a 3D screen capture, and - finally - dragging and dropping into "model space" in the Adobe document.

All of these actions result in a successful copy of the geometry being created, but none include the 3D Anno - which, by the way, I do have displayed in the SW enviroment.

Has anyone else had this issue?

On a side note, this is part of my holy quest to meet ASME Y14.41 in the simpliest, most universally acceptable method... if anyone has any other ideas on to share MBD, PMI, FT&A, or whatever you call it where you work, that would be great.

Thanks.

For one Adobe 3D is not the same a SW or edrawings, etc... the annotations in a SW file are of a different Expression then the geometry in a SW model, so it maybe that the Adobe can only bring in the geometry like it does when you translate a file in from a different CAD system... just bring in the geometry and leaves everything else out. So your annotations are probably not going to be brought into the adobe 3D.
