Hi,
I'm trying, and failing, to get how I think an arrayed adjustable part should work.
Here's what I'm trying:
Part 1 - a cube with a four round pockets, big enough for Part 2 on one surface
Part 2 - an adjustable (part) spring (x4)
Part 3 - a cube
So the four springs sit in the pockets in Part 1. Parts 1 and 3 are spaced apart by a variable. The length of Part 2 adjusts to suit.
The first spring is arrayed within the assembly model using a sketch pattern, to create the four springs.
All works well for the un-adjusted part. When the variable is changed the original spring changes to suit, but the other 3 arrayed items do not. I've tried update part etc, but with no luck.
Any thought? I've asked Cutting Edge, our support people and they cannot work it out...
Cheers,
M
