So I'm completely ignorant about adhesives but I figured you guys could help :D

I have a glass/leather hipflask of some sentimental value. It has a clean break around the neck. It should be feasible to glue the glass back together. My main concern was that the high alcoholic content of the flask (single malt, mmmmm...) might act as a solvent for the adhesive. I'm not very keen on mixers in my whisky.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Fire up an oxy-acetylene torch, heat up the the edges and smush 'em back together.

Practice on broken soda or wine bottles to get the hang of it.
