I'm laying out the installation of some new equipment on an existing slab and plan to use Hilti HY 150 max adhesive anchoring system. I'm using a 1/2" threaded rod (HILTI HAS E-Rod)with an embedment depth of nine inches. I'm using HILTI's design charts and formulas and checking that it corresponds with ACI 2012. I'm also considering the spacing and edge distances. Does it sound reasonable to calculate an allowable tensile resistance of 9,000 lb per anchor and an allowable shear resistance of 4,500 lb per anchor with an adhesive, 1/2 inch threaded anchor embeded 9 inches? I'm confident with my calculations and process it just seems high to me for some reason.

Keep in mind that you typically will need a safety factor of 4 with adhesive anchors in tension.
