acoustic signals in ducts and CPS

I often calculate the Cross Power Spectrum (CPS) of two acoustic signals (two signals given by two microphones mounted at two different positions in a duct). Can I use the CPS for any kind of acoustic signals ? (non-linear signals particularly)
