Does anyone know much about acoustic cleaning? it is to do with removing particles from a surface using sound waves and preventing sedimentation, usually with an acoustic horn.

BHA offer some products using this technology, I just want to know if anyone has actually experienced this technology first hand? Comments?

I am doing a project in University based on removing rust from boilers at a power station and I'm having a hard time finding sources for my literature review. I've tried looking in the vibrations journal and also the European patent office but nothing too useful.

any help will be appreciated.

thanks,

We used to use ultrasonic cleaning. Does what it says on the packet.

These Sonic Horns will not clean anything. They only keep things clean.
