We have an anodize processing line and sealing with sodium dichromate calls for temperature range of 208 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Our facility is at a high-altitude location (4860 feet above sea level). It appears that we cannot achive a consistent reding of 208 degrees MIN in the dipping tank as the solution boils and evaporates very rapidly. We suspect that our location (altitude) makes it difficult to achive this temp (books say water boils at 202 def F at this altitude). Has anyone aver experienced a similar problem? Is there a reccomended anti-evaporation additive or other method to deal with this problem? Regards.
