I work for a company and we mainly use PCB accelerometers for vibration testing. What is the average lifespan of a PCB accelerometer? Are there any other brands of accelerometers that you would suggest using for vibration testing?

5 years, at a guess. B&K and Endevco make good quality gear, but you pay for it. We actually lose or destroy accelerometers more often than breaking them, but I do have some 22 year old B&K accelerometers that are still in calibration.
