Acad --> TurboCAD Problems

I am trying to E-mail a drawing to someone who is using TurboCAD and he cannot open the drawing. I have tried sending it as a .dwg, .dxf, 2007.dwg, 2007.dxf. I am currently using 2010 AutoCAD and am not sure of his version but it is current. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version of TurboCad??

I use Version 11 and have not had any problems - just save the AutoCad as version 2000 or so
