hi,

pls can anyone help me out urgently...

i have an acad 2006 file and i cant open it...when i open it im getting 'Internal Error: !saveres.cpp@437: eGeneralModelingFailure' and it closes again..without giving me time to run recover on it..

what can i do???

Re: Internal Error !saveres.cpp@437: eGeneral ModelingFailure
Type OPEN and highlight the file, look at the pull down (down arrow) next to the open pick box and select partial open. It'll ask for the layers you want to load.
If the layers selected load, wblock those objects to a new dwg. Continue until you get as much out of the dwg as you can. Then buy a backup system. They run about $200 at buy.com. It would have probably paid for itself with this
one drawing. Imagine if one day you come in and all your drawings are gone

Perhaps the above will help.
