In AutoCAD 2000i and up you can create true color output via the plot style tables. Using the Plot Style Table Editor you can assign a custom true color property. The assigned colors will be displayed in the Layout tabs as long as the Display Plot Styles check box is selected in the Page Setup dialog box and you have regenerated the drawing after making changes in the Plot Style Table Editor.
To specify a custom true color for a given plot style:
1. Open the Plot Style Table Editor.
2. Select the plot style for which you want to assign a custom color.
3. Select the Color Property window.
4. Scroll down the Color Property drop-down and select True Color.
5. In the True Color dialog box, create the desired color for your output.
