Does anyone know of any software/program or worksheet that produces AC unit (rooftop or split ) schedule - specs. Such as rating, voltage, etc... just common info to put on the MEP plan sheets. Kind of like fill-in-the blank table. Thanks

Well I bet a lot of selection software will do that for you.

I just copy a schedule from an old job and edit the text myself. One of the worst things to have a typo on, so if you want it done right do it yourself.

Take the "V" out of HVAC and you are left with a HAC(k) job.

Lennox has one (LPSS 3.0) that will do this (up to 5 tons).

Look at design drawings of your building HVAC system. there should be a schedule sheet with AC schedule. Note difference between split & unitary. Schedule should be based on an actual unit performance. You have to look at catalog data, selection procedure and you must know the sensible load, latent load, design outdoor air conditions, OA CFM, available electric power, fan static pressure requirement. Does it need to have economizer cooling, etc.
