Hi bros,
When searching in CSI wiki , i have a trouble in understanding the meaning of the following sentence (the underline in the attachment). I am not good at English and this sentence is not along with illustration. This make me confuse. Please help me to explain this sentence:
"when the frame is normal to the 1-2 local plane of the shell, model a small frame object within the plane of the shell, and release the moment at the far end of the frame object".
Anyone has examples or illustration figure?
Thx bros.

This is a simplified technique to account for the actual stiffness of the connection between shells and frames.
