I have searched the online info, including manuals but have not found a definitive answer for this question so hoping someone (Zog?) may be able to answer this. The above trip unit is on a ITE K-600 breaker and the unit Ampere Tap is set to 400A. My question is are the CT's tapped to match the SS-5 trip unit tap setting? Or can the tap be lowered to 250A by just moving the tap plug and there is no associated tap of the CT?

I'm pretty sure the current sensors do not have any sort of taps. All pickup settings are changed by moving the pins on the Trip Unit.
