Hi guys
I am doing a static analysis for a strengthened RC beam in abaqus. Actually i am trying to simulate the exact experimentation part in the Abaqus modelling. I preloaded the RC beam upto 65% of the ultimate load and then strengthened it with an overlay. Can anyone tell me how to preload a beam and carry the same beam for strengthened part.ASAP!!!!

It probably would behoove to post in the Abaqus forum, rather than a general forum. Or, in the structural forum.
