Hello all,
I am learning to write an ABAQUS VUMAT subroutine for Deshpande Evans (DE)/ Preston-Tonks-Wallace Material (PTW)constitutive model. I didn't write a subroutine before. I would appreciate any guidance toward the development of a subroutine. If anyone can share a VUMAT subroutine for DE/PTW model it would be of great help!
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Arif

I don't think you can find a ready-made VUMAT code for such a specific material model. But there are some research papers and theses that can be helpful. Just search for the names of those models (separately) and add "Abaqus" to that. You will find resources like "Finite Element Implementation Of The Preston-Tonks-Wallace Plasticity Model And Energy Based Bonding Parameter For The Cold Spray Process" by J.M. Schreiber and "Inelastic Response and Energy Dissipation in Ceramics using Deshpande and Evans Constitutive Model" by S.K. Lahiri et al.
