I am getting an error when running an analysis using Abaqus/Standard. My analysis requires me to use results from previous file and also use submodeling.
I have one Globalmodel and another Abaqus/Standard Local/Sub Model from which I am importing the results to solve another Abaqus/Standard local/sub model analysis.
The difference b/w the two local models is the material property which is time dependent.
The error that I am getting is
*ERROR Submodeling may not be used with the import analysis
Has anyone experienced such a problem. I have checked the limitations for the two analysis in the User manual, but there is no mention about the same.
My input file is as follows
*IMPORT,UPDATE=YES, STATE=NO
*IMPORT ELSET
....
*IMPORT NSET
...
*SUBMODEL, GLOBAL ELSET = <name>
<Nodeset Name>
can anyone help me with this
Can I combine both import and submodel analysis? I do not see any reason why I should not.
thanks in advance
