Hi Everyone,
I am using Abaqus for verification of my experimental results on rubber-like material. I am experiencing the same problem during past week. I hope someone could generously offer some help on this and here is the problem description.
The test I conducted is a conventional tensile test on dumb-bell specimen, I fix the bottom surface and apply displacement on the top surface. The way I define material parameter is using experimental results input. The problem I have is I got a few elements excessively distorted. I tried varies kinds of mesh: tet, wedge, hex, all of them got the same issue.
Please check the attachment for the Abaqus File.
Best Regards
Jing
