Hello everyone,
I’m working for my master thesis with Abaqus, to model a composite beam (steel beam + concrete slab). To model the behaviour of the shear connectors (headed studs) in three directions (x,y and z),I used fasteners and a cartesian connector section. But this didn’t work. Is this the right way to model the behaviour of a connector in three directions? If so, is there any tutorial about this topic? If not, what is the right way to model the connectors?
Kind regards
