Does anyone know where to find the C value in the following equation RF = (C-A1*D) / [A2L(1+I)]
eq. 6B.5.1-1 in the AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation

sorry for not clarifying. I am working with bridges across the nation that are in varying conditions. Does anyone know where to find capacities for bridges across the US that reflect the current condition of the structure?

Could you further clarify your request? Capacity is capacity; it's unique for each bridge.

i was looking for a refernce to the operating capacity of a bridge. According to the NBI they are inspected and rated every two years, so i have been trying to find a source that has that information.

The bridge inspection report should have this listed. Our state has the inventory rating listed or if its deemed structurally deficient it has what its load posted at. It also has the suffiency/health % listed as well. You can always calculate the capacity of the bridge yourself, but this is assuming the bridge is 100% healthy.

Cal - The Condition Rating is prepared every two years, or less. However, a Condition Rating is not a Load Rating, which is what I think you're looking for.

BridgeEI- which state r u in and is that information available on the web?
