AASHTO Charpy V-Notch

I am putting together some drawings for structural steel and have been asked what are the Charpy V-notch requirements for this material. I see in ASTM A709 that the notch toughness requirements are to be in accordance with AASHTO. What are these requirements? I looked through LTS-4 and did not see any specific requirements. Also in A709 Table 8 there are values for Zones 1, 2 & 3. What are these zones?

AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Spec Table 6.6.2-2 lists the requirements. The zone relates to the temperate zone designation, see Table 6.6.2-1. There is a nice paragraph in section 6.6 that gives some information.
