Hi,
according to table QW/QB-422 of ASME IX, A/SA 350 LF2 is classified acc. to ISO 15608 as group 11.1.
In table 1 ISO 15608, Group 11.1 refers to Steel covered by group 1 except 0,30%< C <=0,35%.
But if I look at chemical requirements of table 1 SA 350 LF2, ASME II PART.A, Carbon content max is 0,30%...so how is it possible that LF2 is group 11.1?
Notice that in ISO 15608 carbon steels like group 1 but with 0,25<C<0,30% are not covered neither in Group 1 nor in group 11: this is f. strange
What do you think? Why is LF2 in group 11.1? Thanks
