I work at a combined cycle plant and we also send steam to 2 hosts. Where can I get information or how can I calculate the heat rate when taking this into consideration?

Are you wanting to calculate the heat rate of the gas turbine itself or the heat rate of the combined cycle plant as a total heat rate? The Gas Turbine heat rate is easy, however the total plant heat rate depends on many factors and will require some effort.

Gas Turbine Heat Rate as follows;
Heat Rate = Fuel Flow * Fuel Heating Value / Power Output to result in “X” BTU’s/Kwh

For an overall plant or facility heat rate, you’ll probably want to use the billing meters for both gas and electricity – and this should therefore be a net heat rate for the facility (after all auxiliary and house loads have been accounted for.as well as the steam flow to your 2 hosts.
