6G Welder Qualification Range 1

Weld Process - SMAW
We have 6G welders qualified - using F4 & F5 Filler Metal groupings.

Q1 - Can My F4 welder weld stainless Steel base meterial ising F5 Filler Metal?
Q2- Is my Welder qualified with F5 Filler metal qualified to weld using F4 to F1 Filler Metals

Q1 - No, performance qualification with F4 filler does not qualify for F5.

Q2 - No. He would be qualified to weld F5, and F1 filler with backing only.
