*** 3dcad forum conversion this weekend starting 2/28 ***
Hello everyone!
The current version of the software used for 3D CAD Forums has come to "end of life". Both the version of vBulletin (the forum software) and PHP (the underlying web scripting software to run vBulletin) have reached end of life and are no longer being support and there will be no more updates.
After several months of evaluations we have chosen to upgrade the software to Xenforo. Xenforo is a very modern and active software. All posts and user accounts (including passwords) will be converted over.
To migrate the site we will need to turn it off and not allow postings for a bit. So starting Friday February 28th at 5pm EST the forum will go into lock down mode. During this time posting, registration and login will be inaccessible. The forums will be down for approximately 6 hours while everything is migrated over to the new server. Once finished the site will come back online with it's new look & feel.
