I am looking for a software for 3D slope stability analysis. Do PLAXIS use for 3D slope stability analysis? Do you people suggest any other software for 3D slope analysis?

Hello Tangal.

Years ago, I used a program called CLARA, developed by Oldrich Hungr who is, or at least was, with Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences, University of British Columbia, in Vancouver. It extended the simplified-Bishop method to 3D. The version I used was for DOS. It was not real easy to use, but I think there is a Windows version now, which should be better.

The windows version of Clara is better. The 3d interface isn't great. I used Surfer to modify a DTM to match my site conditions. Once you get the geology in, it's very similar to other slope stability programs.
