3500 Kelvin LED's

I work with a company who manufactures refrigerated display case for grocery stores, the kind of cases that you would see in the Deli department where they have large 10# + pieces of ham, turkey etc that they will carve to order. I am interested in the use of LED lighting for our cases. Some of the requirements would be 3500 kelvin, 40 degrees and less in internal temperature, moist environment, equal or exceeds T-5 or T-8 3' & 4' fluorescent light bulbs that we currently use, etc.
I believe until recently LED were know for just glowing. I've seen articles (Lighting.com E-Mail) stating that companies are making them for overhead traffic lights, which tells me that some now project light. I have E-Mailed Sylvania OSRAM about there LED program, but could not get any one who actually wanted to help me.
Does any here know of a manufacture that makes lengths of LED lighting strips that may suit our needs? Or does anyone know of another web site where I might get assistance?

go the other way check with the led manfactures they are trying to find new markets for led's

Sure thing. LED's are being used in all type of light fixtures. Some manufacturers use arrays of LED's to make small accent downlights, step lights and other uses. The technology is improving yearly. Good luck.
