3" steel roof deck & roof drains

I am looking for a detail for supporting the roof drain on a 3" steel roof deck.
Our typical detail for 1 1/2" deck has angle supports welded to the joists.

How is it done with 3" deck and the supports much farther away?

Why not the same way with bigger angles?
