2001 Student edition to Wildfire

My last post I made a mistake. The parts created in 2001 Student Edition cant be opened with Wildfire. Why is that?
 
Parts, etc. created in a student edition can't be opened, translated or anything else into a full edition. It's a code modification that PTC put into their student edition that allows for full functionality with out givng up their revenue.
