Utilizing 2 - 6x2 13ppf steel channels back to back with 1/2"x6" steel plate between.
Span is 15' laterally supported. Total load 450ppf.

Bolted assembly - 3/4dia @ 16" staggered longitudinally.

If anyone has experience with this assembly method - or welded, would like to have any comments.

2 C6x13 back-to-back with PL 1/2x6 plate in between? They can be bolted or welded. I don't think you gain much with staggered bolts.

yanktogo - what exactly is your question. Just asking for any and all comments is rather vague.

yanktogo, there's a whole field called structural engineering devoted to solving such problems. You need to engage one.
