I am trying to verify the material properties in several hundred bridges built around 1954. The design drawings reference the 1953 A.A.S.H.O. Standard Specifications for Highway Bridges.

The concrete is defined as: Class "F" Concrete.

Does anyone have a copy of this reference?

Thanks a ton!

Andrew- there wasn't any Class F listed in the spec. I attached relevant pages for your use. Perhaps Calls F was a particular type used by the bridge owner?

jdonville - doesn't everyone have a '53 AASHO? :-D
