Hi,

I'm trying to connect two shafts, which must rotate in opposite directions, at an angle of 135 degrees. I was hoping to find a gearbox to accomplish this as a neat and tidy solution (a previous solution involving UV joints was not very pretty!).

Is such a thing available?

Any help appreciated

A custom gearbox could be designed to do this.

You could accomplish this with two right-angle gearboxes.

Turn the output shaft on the "input" gearbox up and drive through a set of sprockets (or belt sheaves or spur gears) to the vertical input shaft on the "output" gearbox. The "output" gearbox could be arranged at whatever angle you want. You can get the right angle gearboxes with whatever rotation is required to achieve your desired output rotation.
