120V vs 208V motor

Given a specific horsepower, does the selected voltage for a motor affect anything other than the current that the motor will draw? I have a contractor that is proposing to install a 120V 3/4hp motor as opposed to a 208V 3/4hp motor and, other than current draw changing, I'm wondering if I should consider anything else in accepting the change.

Is the 208V motor also single phase?

yes, both motors are single phase.

There are generally less voltage dip issues with a higher voltage motor. But it depends. In some instances voltage dip may be a real issue with the lower voltage motor. In other instances, there may not be much voltage dip or it may be there but not be an issue. It depends on the actual installation conditions.
I have seen 3/4 HP motors work well on 120 Volts with no problems and I have seen other installations where a 3/4 HP motor had issues on 120 Volts.
