Does anyone know if 1,3 pentadieen is corrosive on
GRP for tanks or FPM on pumpbellows.
Concentration is <1%,

Why should pentadiene attack glass-reinforced plastics or flurocarbon rubbers ? At what operating conditions ? In what solvents is the 1-methyl butadiene dissolved ?

Why it should attack? I don't know, that's why I started this thread.

The solvent is Aluminum Chloride 7%, conditions are atmosferic pressure and ambient temp.
