Hi all,

I have a large plant layout made up of a number of x-refs we'll call A-Z. When the root drawing is opened, everything is fine. Here is the problem I'm having. If I start a new layout and open drawing A, then x-ref B,C,D and E, x-ref E lands way out in left field or where I'm located, is probably where the freeway is! However, if I open E first and x-ref A,B,C and D,everything is in place. Can anyone shed some light on this one?

Thanks in advance,

Haggis

Is one layout set about a UCS and another the WCS? I know the defaults on these things drive me mad.

ajack1,

Thanks for the tip but using the WORLDUCS command on the various drawings shows me that the UCS and the WCS are coincident.

The INSBASE setting for E must be other than 0,0.

CarlB,

INSBASE (new one on me) done the trick.

Thanks,

Haggis
