AWS specifies minimum fillet sizes based on the thickness of the parts being joined. My question is what to do if a part has already been welded with a size below the code minimum.
I am OK with the smaller weld size based on strength required at that joint, but not sure what to do about code...
I would like to apply bolt preloads to a few different bolt groups in an assembly in a certain sequence, because the resulting tension in each of the bolts will vary based on the order the bolts are tensioned in.
What is the most efficient way to do sequential loading like this?
